An invaluable opportunity for students to learn well-known software in wind energy - directly from the code developers. Software workshops are hosted by NREL (e.g., OpenFAST, WEIS, HOPP, FLORIS, AMR-Wind, etc.,) and PNNL.

The GSS will provide an enriching and interactive platform for students, helping them hone their communication and networking skills alongside other students and leaders in the fields of wind energy technology, research, and innovation. Undergraduate students can attend the GSS without attending the Main Conference.

The organizing committee has secured limited spots at the Rutgers Day Care Center for conference attendees with children between the ages of 2.5-4.5 years old. The cost of care is $75 per day per child, and includes meals (i.e., breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks) during the operating hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In addition to the Day Care Center, Rutgers partners with Care.com, and offers a vetted list of caregivers for both childcare and eldercare, providing subsidized in-home and in-center care options for community members and guests.
