Software Workshops (Monday, 10/28)
An invaluable opportunity for students to learn well-known software in wind energy - directly from the code developers. Software workshops are hosted by NREL (e.g., OpenFAST, WEIS, HOPP, FLORIS, AMR-Wind, etc.,) and PNNL.
Light breakfast and coffee/tea breaks will be provided.

Professional Organization Meetings (Tuesday)
Professional organization meetings for NAWEA, IEA Wind, A2OSW, and others. Some of these meetings are by invite only.

Graduate Student Symposium (GSS - Tuesday)
The GSS will provide an enriching and interactive platform for students, helping them hone their communication and networking skills alongside other students and leaders in the fields of wind energy technology, research, and innovation. Undergraduate students can attend the GSS without attending the Main Conference.

Industry-Student Networking (ISNE - Tuesday Evening)
The Industry-Student Networking Event (ISNE) will take place at the Zimmerli Art Museum (Z.A.M.), and include a special Ghost Tour of the Rutgers College Avenue Campus.

Welcome Poster Reception (Wednesday Evening)
The Poster Reception on Wednesday evening will be a key opportunity for dialogue and networking.
The Poster Competition will take place at this event.
Banquet and Halloween Party (Thursday Evening)
In 2024, we are following the Halloween-themed after-party tradition!! Expect a fun evening with a costume competition, and a party hosted by a professional crew with MC, DJ, and dance instructor...

Family Care Support Options
The organizing committee has secured limited spots at the Rutgers Day Care Center for conference attendees with children between the ages of 2.5-4.5 years old. The cost of care is $75 per day per child, and includes meals (i.e., breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks) during the operating hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In addition to the Day Care Center, Rutgers partners with Care.com, and offers a vetted list of caregivers for both childcare and eldercare, providing subsidized in-home and in-center care options for community members and guests.
