An invaluable opportunity for students to learn well-known software in wind energy - directly from the code developers. Software workshops are hosted by NREL (e.g., OpenFAST, WEIS, HOPP, FLORIS, AMR-Wind, etc.,) and PNNL.

The GSS will provide an enriching and interactive platform for students, helping them hone their communication and networking skills alongside other students and leaders in the fields of wind energy technology, research, and innovation. Undergraduate students can attend the GSS without attending the Main Conference.

The Conference kickoff on Wednesday morning with VIP speakers.
The Poster Reception on Wednesday evening will be a key opportunity for dialogue and networking. The reception is followed by a social for students and time for Halloween costume preparations.
The Poster Competition will take place during this reception.
Important note to all poster presenters:
Presenters should hang their posters in the Atrium anytime between 3 and 5 pm. Judging starts at 6:15 pm.
