Final Schedule for the Conference Week

Final Programs are Available Below in a Chronological Order

Software Workshops (Monday - All Day)

An invaluable opportunity for students to learn well-known software in wind energy - directly from the code developers. Software workshops are hosted by NREL (e.g., OpenFAST, WEIS, HOPP, FLORIS, AMR-Wind, etc.,) and PNNL. 

Light breakfast and coffee/tea breaks will be provided.

Professional Organization Meetings (Tuesday-Friday)

Professional organization meetings for NAWEA, IEA Wind, A2OSW, and others. Some of these meetings are by invite only. 

Light breakfast and coffee/tea breaks will be provided. 


Multiple Locations: Tuesday: Zimmerli Art Museum (Z.A.M.); Wednesday-Friday: Hyatt Regency.

Graduate Student Symposium (GSS - Tuesday - All Day)

 The GSS will provide an enriching and interactive platform for students, helping them hone their communication and networking skills alongside other students and leaders in the fields of wind energy technology, research, and innovation. Undergraduate students can attend the GSS without attending the Main Conference. 


Location: Douglas Student Center

Industry-Student Networking (ISNE - Tuesday Evening)

The Industry-Student Networking Event (ISNE) will take place at the Zimmerli Art Museum (Z.A.M.), and include a special Ghost Tour of the Rutgers College Avenue Campus.

Main Conference Program (Wednesday - Friday)

The Main Conference is taking place between Wednesday (10/30) and Friday (11/1).

Opening and Keynote (Wednesday Morning)

The Conference kickoff on Wednesday morning with VIP speakers.

Welcome Poster Reception (Wednesday Evening)

 The Poster Reception on Wednesday evening will be a key opportunity for dialogue and networking. The reception is followed by a social for students and time for Halloween costume preparations.


The Poster Competition will take place during this reception. 

Important note to all poster presenters: 

Presenters should hang their posters in the Atrium anytime between 3 and 5 pm. Judging starts at 6:15 pm.
